Managing Downloads and Quotas

Track download activity, understand quota limits, and optimize usage across your plans.

1

View download history

Go to History. You'll see every download across all your shared files, with:

  • Timestamp
  • File name
  • IP address (hashed for privacy)
  • Device type (desktop/mobile/tablet)
  • Approximate location
2

Understand your quota

The "downloads per day" quota is the number of times your shared files can be downloaded by others. It's not limits on your downloads.

  • Free: 50/day
  • Pro: 500/day
  • Contributor: Unlimited

Quota resets at midnight UTC. Check your quota badge in the navbar at any time.

3

Per-file analytics

Click any file in My Files to see:

  • Total downloads (lifetime)
  • Downloads in the last 7 days
  • Most active days
  • Geographic distribution

Use this to understand which files are popular and which aren't getting traction.

4

Favorites for quick access

Star important files from the files list. They'll show up in Favorites for one-click access.

Perfect for files you share frequently — no need to scroll through long lists.

5

Quota running low?

When you hit 80% of your daily quota, you'll see a warning. Options:

  • Wait until midnight UTC for reset
  • Upgrade to Pro for 10x more downloads
  • Consider Contributor for unlimited downloads

You're done!
