Privacy Policy

1Data Collection
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and Google account information when you sign in via Google OAuth. We also collect usage data such as download counts, IP addresses, and browser information to improve our service and prevent abuse.
2How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to provide and maintain our service, process file sharing requests, enforce download quotas, communicate important updates, and improve user experience. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3Data Storage
Your account data is stored securely in encrypted databases. Files shared through GDShine remain on Google Drive servers; we do not store file contents on our servers. Temporary file copies created during downloads are automatically deleted after a configurable period (default: 4 hours).
4Third-Party Services
We use Google OAuth for authentication and Google Drive API for file operations. These services have their own privacy policies. We may use analytics tools to understand usage patterns. We do not share your personal information with advertisers.
5Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account from the dashboard settings. Upon account deletion, all your files, share links, and personal data are permanently removed from our systems.
6Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We may use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with our platform. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
7Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure token-based authentication, and regular security audits. Share links use encrypted tokens that do not expose underlying file identifiers.
